- Things have been extremely busy at Mix Media since our last update, with new website changes and the company being incorporated in 2005.
- Mix Media recorded, mixed and mastered a 4 song EP of "Blind Eye", a newly formed band from Nanaimo.
- Recent sound design credits for Stephen in 2005 include: "As You Like It" & "Love's Labour's Lost" for Bard on the Beach, "Alley Cats" for Megakins Productions, "Silence" for The Shameless Hussies and "Enchanted April" & "A Flea In Her Ear" for The Arts Club Theatre.
- Mix Media recently did the post sound for a soon to be released "Tegan and Sara" DVD.
- Upcoming highlights: We are currently in the process of converting Control Room "B" into an isolated drum room! Stay tuned...

- Mix Media is currently finishing up a 5.1 Surround Sound mix
for the upcoming feature film "Subhuman" (aka "Shelf Life").
In addition to providing the film's score, we have been involved with all aspects
of audio engineering for this production.
- Mix Media recently completed recording, mixing and mastering
a full CD for "Realtime" a cappella quartet.
- In other news, Stephen is currently working as Randy Bachman's
personal guitar technician.

- New additions to the facility include a new pair of Rokit KRK-6
power monitors in studio A, an Audio Technica 4033 wide diaphragm microphone
and laminate flooring in our lobby and kitchen area.
- Recent projects: The Vancouver Cast Recording of "The
Rocky Horror Show", "Melodious Mandolins", interactive CD-Rom
"Meeting Jesus" and the Balinese group “Gamelan Gita Asmara”.
- Upcoming highlights: This summer we are pleased to
be recording the barbershop quartet “Realtime”, as well as "The Martin
Fisk Project".
